Biometric face/finger time clock times out too quickly between pressing the In/Out button and verification.
Issue: Biometric face/finger time clock times out too quickly between pressing the In/Out button and verification.
Resolution: Upgrading each clock with the downloaded file to extend the time from 3 to 9 seconds. See instructions below.
Upgrade Instructions:
Step 1. Extract the file received by Microix support and copy “option2.cfg” to the root of a USB memory stick (No other files should exist on the memory stick)
Step 2. Connect the memory stick to your FR302 USB port which is located next to the power button.
Step 3. Select the menu button on the display and navigate to System>Upgrade and follow the message on screen to complete the upgrade.
Step 4. After receiving the completed message, exit the menu and remove the USB memory stick and repeat the process if you have other FR302 devices. Reboot each device for the changes to take effect.
