How to Inactivate/De-activate User
How to inactivate/deactivate user from workflow modules.
You cannot delete a user as they have documents associated with their user id, but you can deactivate them by Navigating to Maintenance - Users - Uncheck the Active box
Step 1. If the user is a Requester in any workflow, it will give a prompt "There are 1 inactivate user that are associated with the workflow, would you like to remove them workflows? - Click OK - this will remove the users from the workflows that they are in as Requesters
Step 2. If the user is an Approver in workflow , it will then give a prompt - "The user is an approver in one or more workflows. You cannot de-activate the user. - For this, you would first need to remove the user as an approver manually from the workflow either by replacing them with another approver or deleting their approval level if not required. Once you remove the user as an approver then come back to Maintenance - Users - Uncheck the Active box - and follow the step 1
