Barcode Teach Process for MDS Application
The purpose of this process is to associate the vendor/manufacturer’s barcode value with Microix internal Item Number.
- Using the MDS application, select Teach Mode from the menu
- Enter or scan Microix Internal Inventory Number (use Workflow Modules to print barcode labels from if necessary to help speed up the teaching process Microix Help Desk - How Do I print Item Labels for My Inventory Items? - Knowledge base)
- Scan the barcode label that is affixed to the product (vendor/manufacturer label)
- Click send to save the barcode information to Microix Workflow Modules
