How to automatically insert equivalent hours worked to a different earning code

Pre-requisite - this feature is intended for employees who clock in/out. It is not intended for staff who manually enter a timesheet.

How to automatically insert equivalent hours worked for staff who may get additional pay for hazard work or any other type of job that may generate additional pay.


  1. Create earning code in MIP for the differential pay, most likely it will be a rate multiplier or fixed hourly amount.


  1. Create shift differential rule in Microix and add it to the employee’s shift code


  1. Timesheet results
