Configure and Test the Auto-Attachment Feature
Auto-Attachment feature allows employees to email receipts to a general mailbox and Microix will auto attach to their Microix Documents.
1. Create a general email account to accept attachments ( You can use your existing exchange server or any free email service such as outlook, gmail, yahoo, ect) Example: attachments@company.org
2. Allow Microix access to the email account by entering the account credentials within the Workflow Modules Client application. Navigate to Maintenance\Global Options\App Options and provide the POP account settings:

3. From a PC or mobile device, create an email with an attachment and send it to the newly created email account ( example:attachment@domain.org). The email subject line must contain the document number (only numeric values, for e.g., if document number is 18-EN-0001005, your subject must contain 0001005, and a description of the attachment. Additionally, you may consider taking a picture of a receipt using any smart phone and send via email to the attachment mailbox account. If your phone have an option to send the picture as a PDF then is the preferred method.

4. After sending the mail, wait a few seconds for the mail to reach its destiny. Next time when an Attachment form is open by any user in Microix, it will trigger Microix to process the incoming attachments.
( Note: it will take around 5-10 seconds to pull the attachment after opening the attachment form).
Review and Confirm Test Results
5. If your attachment was successfully accepted, you will receive a confirmation email as shown below and the document audit trial will also show the same information
Also an entry will be created in System Audit Trail to check if the Attachment was received by Microix.
NEW!!! Microix will now accept attachments without an associated document. You can later associate the attachment with a document in Microix.
1. If the subject line on email do not contain a document number, user will receive an email confirmation stating the attachment was accepted without an associated document
2. For these un-associated attachments, the user can login to Workflow Modules and navigate to My Documents, click on Attachments button and start associating the attachment to existing or newly created documents.
Audit Trail entry will be added on System Audit Trail and Document Audit Trail.
