How to setup timesheet to pay 1.5 hrs. if employee worked on a holiday
Question: Howe to setup timesheet to pay 1.5 hrs. if employee worked on a holiday.
(NOTE: this is setup will only work for employees who clock in/out via a time clock device or web/PC time clock)
NOTE: If this rule applies to both non-exempt and except employees, review the highlighted purple and yellow text to know if the “Not Eligible” column should be checked
Expected Timesheet Results:
- Hours worked on holiday will appear on the timesheet as Pay Type - Earnings with default earning code at regular employee pay rate
- Microix will include an additional line on the timesheet for the hours worked on Holiday with earning code at the .5 rate
(NOTE: this is setup will only work for employees who clock in/out via a time clock device or web/PC time clock)
- Create an earning code in MIP with a rate multiplier of .5
- Setup Microix holiday rule with a list of eligible holidays and assign the .5 rate to the ”Holiday Earning Code” field
NOTE: If this rule applies to both non-exempt and except employees, review the highlighted purple and yellow text to know if the “Not Eligible” column should be checked
Expected Timesheet Results:
- Hours worked on holiday will appear on the timesheet as Pay Type - Earnings with default earning code at regular employee pay rate
- Microix will include an additional line on the timesheet for the hours worked on Holiday with earning code at the .5 rate
