Checklist for implementing time clock devices
***THIS PROCESS IS OBSOLETE FOR WEB MANAGED TIME CLOCKS***
1. Install Microix Workflow Modules on the MIP SQL server and connect to the live MIP database (http://www.microix.info/helpdesk/KB/View/6768-how-to-install-microix-workflow-modules-version-xxx )
2. Open Workflow Modules and navigate to Maintenance>Register product and enter your activation code
3. Navigate to Maintenance>Users and import all employees from MIP’s Payroll Module
4. Create appropriate workflows and assign employees to each workflow
5. Navigate to Timesheet>Setup>Employee Default Values, find the column “Punch Type” and change the row value to “Time” for all time clock users.
6. Install Microix Time Clock Manger software on the MIP SQL server (http://www.microix.info/helpdesk/KB/View/7237-how-to-install-microix-timeclock-manager--mbit--on-premise-and-offsitehosting)
7. Configure each clock with a static IP address and register each IP address in the Microix Time Clock Manger software. Additionally, you will then upload all the time clock user to the master clock. 8. Depending on the type of clock you purchased, you will start the process by enrolling each employee’s face, finger or RFID card at the master clock (We suggest the clocks closes to the HR/Payroll department be the designated master clock)

9. After all employees are enrolled in the master clock, you can use the sync feature to copy the master clock data to all other clocks on the network. http://www.microix.info/helpdesk/KB/View/7357-how-to-sync-employees-from-one-clock-to-other-clocks
10. Install the Workflow Modules Web Companion application if employees need to request leave, view pay stub information and view their time clock/timesheet data. http://www.microix.info/helpdesk/KB/View/6680-how-to-install-microix--cloud-app-web
