Microix Cloud Companion Web Application Overview (Optional Add-on)

Today’s workforce is fundamentally different and no longer limited to the office. We offer a web application which enables customers to extend functionalities to remote users by enabling them to create and/or approve documents via a web browser on a tablet or PC. The Microix Cloud Companion Web Application is convenient and affordable. It is browser based and not a native app.  

Note: The web version is not as full featured as a windows application and therefore some functions cannot be duplicated with a web based application. We recommend for “Lite” remote users to create and to approve documents via a web browser on a tablet or pc.

Pricing Information

Perpetual Pricing: $625-$3000 Annual on-going cost. Based on named users minimum 25 web pack.

Subscription Pricing: If hosted in MIP Cloud, please contact your Microix reseller for a quote.

WEB PACK LICENSE LEVELS for Microix Cloud Companion Web Application: 
Attn Clients - Perpetual License Cloud Companion Web Pack Changes | In effect 8/26/2021

>Note: Clients who are adding the Web pack licenses for the first time, will be initially billed the full amount of the web pack.
Ex. Order a 25 web pack, and will be billed $625 to add, then $625 on subsequent renewals.

>Note: For existing clients who currently own a web pack and need to upgrade to another level web pack, the client will be initially billed the difference.
Ex. A client that currently owns the 25-web pack for $625/annually and needs to upgrade to the 50-web pack for $1000, will initially be billed $375 to move up. The prorated portion will then be reflected on their annual renewal invoice.

(Please remind the client that if they opted for a multi-year renewal m/s plan, that Microix will send an invoice to collect remaining m/s fees. MIP will only need to invoice the initial difference for the add-on product.)

FAQ’s

Who do I contact to receive further information, demo/formal quote? 
Please contact your MIP/Microix Reseller/Consultant to provide you with a quote and any additional information if needed. If you are not sure who your consultant is, please contact us at sales@microix.net and we will get you connected.

Can the final approver use this option to transfer documents to MIP? 
No.

Which browsers and versions is it compatible with? 
The Microix Cloud application is browser based and not a native App.  It will work with HTML5 internet devices such as iPad, Android Tablet, Windows tables/surface with a screen size 9 inches or higher. The phone screen size is not recommended as it is too small. 

For phone devices we only offer the ability to approve documents via an add-on feature called HTML Approval.

Where is the data stored?
On the client's server.

If an employee leaves, can their license be re-assigned to another employee?
Yes.

Is the Cloud Companion accessible on a cell phone? 
Our web app is not optimized for a phone screen size.
(Except for web timeclock. 2021 Microix is looking to add a lite phone app that will allow users to create POs, take pictures of receipts and submit for approval.)

Why does the system show only 499 web licenses, when we purchased more than 499?
This is a known issue, the app does not show the correct number above 499 however, the system will allow up to the purchased amount.Microix is looking into this and will release a fix as soon as possible. Please reach out to Support for an update on this.
