Request form to initiate the process. Once
submitted, Microix begins upgrade coordination.

- Confirm upgrade
eligibility
- Verify the
client has reviewed all breaking changes
- Provide a walkthrough of the Modern system
- Discuss
whether there is a cost to upgrade
- Prepare the
organization and address questions

- Environment:
On-Premise or MIP Cloud (MT/ST)
- Number of active
Microix databases
- Total number
of Web licenses (across all databases)
- Preferred after-hours
upgrade time (after 5 PM EST)
- Primary User
details
(name + email) for first-time login
Important Limitations
- ❌ No rollback to Classic
- ❌ Classic custom reports,
forms, and layouts do not transfer
- ❌ Batch scanning is not
available
User Requirements
All
users must:
- Reset their
passwords
- Use
domain-based email addresses
Licensing
Changes
- Windows/Concurrent
licenses → Named Web licenses
- Additional
licenses required if more capacity is needed
Database Limits
- Modern
includes up to 3 databases
- Web licenses
are shared across all databases
Example-1,000
licenses = up to 1,000 total active users across all databases
