Display Budget Balances in Approval Emails

Overview

Microix can display budget information in approval emails for invoices and requisitions. When enabled, approvers can review budget information related to the document's expense coding directly from the approval email without logging into Microix.

Configuration

To enable this feature:

1. Navigate to Maintenance > Application Options.
2. Check the option "Enable Budget Warning".

Important: Enabling this feature also adds an additional budget acknowledgment to the Microix user interface for both Requesters and Approvers.

Budget Information in Approval Emails

Once enabled, applicable invoice and requisition approval emails will include Budget Information based on the expense coding associated with the document.

Approvers can use this information to review the available budget before approving or rejecting the document if HTML approval is enabled.

Additional Information

The budget information displayed in the email is intended to provide approvers with the same relevant budget context during email approval without requiring them to log into Microix solely to review the budget balance.
