π Overview
Microix allows administrators to import Workflow Setup data using structured templates. The import process is category-based and requires multiple sequential imports to fully configure a workflow.

π Workflow Categories Available for Import
The following categories can be imported:
- Workflows(must be imported first)
- Requesters
- Approvers
- Address (Optional)
- Account Restrictions(Optional)
Each category requires a separate template file.
π§ Import Process β Step-by-Step
πΉ Step 1: Access Workflow Import
- Navigate to: Maintenance > Organization Workflow
- Select Import from the toolbar.
πΉ Step 2: Select Import Category

Choose one of the available categories:
- Workflows
- Requesters
- Approvers
- Address
- Account Restrictions
Note: You must import Workflows first before importing any other category.
πΉ Step 3: Generate and Prepare the Import Template
- Select the option to Create Import Template.
- Download the template file.
- Open the file in Excel.
- Enter the data corresponding to the selected category.
π Using a Predefined File
If you already have an existing workflow list:
- You may use your file.
- You must ensure the column headers match the Microix exported template exactly.
- Column order does not matter.
- Any additional columns not matching template headers will be ignored.
Once completed, save the file.
πΉ Step 4: Import the Data
- Return to the import screen.
- Select Import (instead of Template).
- Browse and select your completed file.
- Click Process button to import.
If the data:
- Matches required structure
- Passes system validation
You will receive a successful import confirmation message.
If validation fails, correct the errors in the file and repeat the import.

Repeat Steps 1β4 for each remaining category:
- Requesters
- Approvers
- Address (if applicable)
- Account Restrictions (if applicable)
Each category must be imported separately.
