Signing In as Another User (Admin Only)

Purpose
This article explains how an Administrator can temporarily sign in as another user to test system changes, provide training, or troubleshoot user reported issues. This feature is not intended for performing tasks on behalf of another user in a production environment. Access is restricted to Administrators who have been granted the required security permissions.


Steps to Sign In as Another User
  1. Navigate to User Maintenance
    • Go to Maintenance > User Maintenance.
  2. Select the Target User
    • In the user list, highlight the user you wish to sign in as.
  3. Confirm the Action 
    • The system will prompt:
      “Are you sure you want to sign in as this user?”
      • Click Yes to proceed.
  1. Time-Sensitive Login
    • A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the system has initiated the login-as process. You will have 2 minutes to log in under your own Admin account, after which the system will automatically sign you in as the selected user.

  • Use this feature responsibly and only when necessary for valid administrative purposes, such as testing.

  • Ensure you have the appropriate security permissions and organizational authorization before impersonating another user.
