Eligibility Criteria for Microix PO Modern
To qualify for the upgrade:
- βοΈ Currently using Requisition Module only
(Exceptions apply if you own other Microix modules but plan to implement them in Modern later) - βοΈ Environment: On-Premise or MIP MT Cloud Hosted
- βοΈ Must own a Web Pack

π οΈ Upgrade Process Overview
π§ Step 1: Microix Upgrade (After Hours β Minimal Impact)
- Modern Module Migration (~30 mins)
- Attachment Extraction (~5 mins per 5,000 attachments)
βοΈ Step 2: MIP Configuration (Business Hours β ~1 Hour)
- System paths and permissions setup
- Move attachments to permanent location
- β οΈ Possible brief interruption to requisition or attachment access during this step
π¨ Key Considerations Before Upgrading
- π No option to revert to Classic version once upgraded
- π Custom reports/forms/layouts from Classic do not transfer
- π¨οΈ Batch scanning not available in Modern
- π Users must reset passwords after upgrade
- π§ All users must use domain-based email addresses
- π€ Additional user licenses may be required
